After a while, Newsela will start to figure out what your reading level is and start adjusting/setting/adapting all articles to your reading level. Eventually you can just do the articles at the level they set for you. On a week to week basis, you could opt to do the level that's been set for you, a level lower than what they give you, or a level higher than what they give you. However, if you opt to do a level lower than the 900-1000s lexile, know that the official Newsela quizzes will be set to either a 6th/7th grade reading level, which is in the 900-1000s range, so you should be ready for those.)
