Important Announcements: 
- Human Growth and Development will be taught near the end of May. An opt-out form has been sent home with child. If you do NOT want your child to participate — please sign it and return it to Mrs. Rose. Please feel to contact us if you have an questions or you want to confirm that we received the form.

- NOT TOO LATE - You have until MONDAY to Bring School Supplies for the School Supply Drive - Please bring new (not opened) school supplies to donate to students who cannot afford them.  Backpacks also accepted (with tags attached). Top 3 first period classes win a prize.

Language Arts 
- Newsela article due Mon. 4/25: Sampling at 19 Detroit schools finds high lead, copper levels in water (make sure you make the annotations that are required by the article, answer the questions that are asked, and also take the quiz at the end)

Social Studies
- read History Alive Chapter 25 & 26 and complete the Chapter 25 & Chapter 26 Interactive Student Notebook pages either in your hard copy or in Notability 
- fill out the My Democracy Project project proposal by TODAY
