Important Reminders- Permission slips for Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum due by Wednesday, 12/13 to your 1st period teacher. Please have your parent indicate if they can chaperone. To chaperone, they will need to be fingerprinted and have a TB test on file. We will let them know if they are needed.

Language Arts 
- In Google Classroom, go to "Wonder - Part 1 Reading Questions". Answer the questions in complete sentences and do the vocabulary using context clues to figure out the definitions.
   - Ch 1-3 (11/30)
   - Ch 4-7 (12/1)

- Newsela article due Mon. 12/4: Plastics found in stomachs of deepest sea creatures

(Starting this trimester, you can choose whichever level to do your Newsela article assignment quizzes. You will get credit for doing any of the levels! After a while, Newsela will start to figure out what your reading level is and start adjusting/setting/adapting all articles to your reading level. Eventually you can just do the articles at the level they set for you. On a week to week basis, you could opt to do the level that's been set for you, a level lower than what they give you, or a level higher than what they give you. However, if you opt to do a level lower than the 900-1000s lexile, know that the official Newsela quizzes will be set to either a 6th/7th grade reading level, which is in the 900-1000s range, so you should be ready for those.)
