- 6th Grade donation check due Friday, 9/28 to Ms. Sun

- Kennedy Fall Festival on Friday 9/28 from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. (pre-order your food tickets ahead of time to skip the big lines)

- Newsela article due Mon. 9/17: Engineers aim to build trust between driverless cars and pedestrians (make sure you take read the directions and take the quiz at the right lexile level to get credit for the assignment; don't forget to do the Write prompt and explain your thinking) 

- NoRedInk Assignment #3: Components of a Sentence I due next Mon. 9/17


Social Studies
- make sure everything in your Paleolithic People: Tools, Tasks and Fire student workbook is complete with the except of Influencing Natural Systems which was done in Google Classroom

- Studies Weekly #2: Studying the Earth due this Fri. 9/14 (attach a piece of binder paper for your answers to Think & Review; skip Let's Write portion)

- finish (optional) your Cornell-style notes for History Alive Chapter 2 on your own — don't forget to use diagrams/charts/drawings whenever possible! Even if you opt to not take notes, you will be held accountable for the material for a future quiz!

- Archeology/Timeline Quiz this Fri. 9/14!!! (will cover TCI 1.1.2 Understanding Our Place in Human History and TCI 1.1.3 Investigating the Past - Assembling an Archeological Team)
