Reminders
- February/March Scholastic Book Order due this weekend (have your parents place the order online)

Language Arts  
- continue research for My Democracy Project website — five-paragraph Information Essay on your project topic is due this Fri. 3/15 (try to have it done by Wednesday so you can have a peer evaluate your writing in class)

- in your Units of Study Information Writing Unit Google Doc, make sure to add the following:

• learning target for Session Twelve (on slide 3)
• a new bookmarked section for the new Chart — Strategies for Writing Compelling Introductions (on slide 12)
• one bullet for the Chart — Writing Information Texts Well (on slide 18)
• an entry of writing for Session Twelve Writing (copy and paste the work you did for Session 11 and continue writing)

- Newsela article due Tues. 3/19: First all-female spacewalk (read the article and take the quiz at the end for whichever level Newsela defaults to for you. Recommended: practice reading the article up to 920L). 

- NoRedInk Assignment #21: Active and Passive Voice due Tues. 3/19

Social Studies
- finish TCI 3.1.2 Unlocking the Secrets of Mohenjo-Daro with the Google Slides if you did not complete it in class — due this Thurs. 3/14

- finish Chapter 13 - Geography and the Early Settlement of India with Google Slides if you did not complete it in class (skip Preview and everything from Processing onward) — due TOMORROW

- Chapter 14 Quiz this Thurs. 3/14!!! (will cover History Alive Chapter 14 as well as TCI 3.1.2 Unlocking the Secrets of Mohenjo-Daro)
