Newsela article due Mon. 4/29: Apple aims to cut carbon footprint (read the article and take the quiz at the end for whichever level Newsela defaults to for you. Recommended: practice reading the article up to 1060L)

- turn in your My Democracy Project website link on Google Classroom — the website should be complete with:
  • research information (written in your own words) on every subpage
  • media component (embedded or linked to one of your subpages)
  • a reflection on your Service Learning experience (this means your Service Learning component should be done well before 5/3!!!)
If you need an extension for the Service Learning component, make sure you have a letter written with your game plan as far as what you're planning to do and when it will be done, then get a parent to sign it. An alternative to the Service Learning component would be attending the Jai Jagat performance.
