- Newsela article: Celebrating Diwali (read the article and take the quiz at the end whichever lexile level Newsela defaults to for you; however, try to read up to 870L even if you start off at a lower level). Make sure you do the WRITE prompt and write at least a solid two paragraphs. Annotations are optional but helpful in aiding in your reading comprehension.
