Newsela article: Why is Russia Invading Ukraine? (read the article and take the quiz at the end whichever lexile level Newsela defaults to for you; however, try to read up to 1050L even if you start off at a lower level). Annotations are optional but helpful in aiding in your reading comprehension.

SHORT-TERM ASSIGNMENT(S):
- re-watch "Environment and Modern Agriculture" (password: Peach77) in order to finish the video handouts

- read/annotate "The Greenhouse Effect" reading in Google Classrom (download the Kami extension on your Chrome browser)

LONG-TERM ASSIGNMENT(S):
- make sure you come on Thurs. 3/3 ready to report out what your chosen topic is — here are a list of ideas

- continue research for the My Place in This Changing World project; contribute helpful resources to our village (make sure you are signed into your CUSD Google account)
