- Climate Change Argument Essay (make sure you're cross-checking the Argument Writing Checklist and Rubric as you finish up your essay) — peer-editing starts next Monday so your rough draft should be fully completed by Sunday night
- Newsela article: Cyclone Freddy longest-lived and strongest storm ever recorded (read the article and take the quiz at the end for whichever lexile level Newsela defaults to for you; however, try to read up to 1060L even if you start off at a lower level). Required: POWER WORDS activity.
