  Important Reminders

- Remind your parent to fill out the WEB Social Permission Slip sent via ParentSquare (need to fill it out even if you are not going) — WEB Social is next Fri. 2/6 from 3:05-4:15 p.m.

- California Academy of Sciences field trip next Thursday, 2/5 — don't forget to bring a lunch

Language Arts

- I Am Malala slide deck work due this Fri. 1/30 (see directions on Google Classroom)

DUE next Mon. 12/15:

- Newsela article: U.S. Southeast Climate Change (read the article and take the quiz at the end whichever lexile level Newsela defaults to for you; however, try to read up to 1030L even if you start off at a lower level). 

- NoRedInk Assignment #16: Singular vs. Plural Possessives

Social Studies

-Migration Timeline project due Tues 2/3

-Israel packet due Friday 1/30

- watch these videos about how slight warming could impact the planet

- read over the My Place in This Changing World project website (the pages that are not blank); contribute helpful resources to our village (make sure you are signed into your CUSD Google account)
