  1. Think back to the beginning of the week when you were first introduced to the Scored Discussion and participated in the whole class discussion. How did you do then? What has changed over the course of the week for you and how have you grown in your discussion skills?
  2. Through the various rounds of scoring, what have you noticed is common for the class? (Are there skills that  we are very good at already/skills that we still need to work on or don’t apply very often?)
  3. Is there something that you heard someone do this week that you would like to emulate? If not, what, in general, would you like to work on for yourself?
  4. Why is it important to listen to what others have to say and then not simply move on to share your opinion, but first respond to what they’ve said?
  5. Whether or not a discussion is scored, many of these discussion traits are good for application in general when engaging in a conversation. Going forth, whenever we have discussions in class (whether whole class or in small groups), what will you do so that: 1. the discussion isn’t dominated by only a few people, 2. those who rarely speak will have their voices heard, and 3. you incorporate what others have shared and build upon those ideas?
