- Newsela article: Nuclear plant shut down by jellyfish (read the article and take the quiz at the end whichever lexile level Newsela defaults to for you; however, try to read up to 990L even if you start off at a lower level). Annotations are required.

- NoRedInk Assignment #1: Plural vs. Possessive Nouns

Social Studies
1. ) Pottery Write-up.  Due Fri. 9/12.
