Reminders
- bring clean bottle caps from plastic bottles next Monday from home if you have any that are going into the recycling; we will be doing a special activity in Social Studies on Monday/Tuesday

- 6th Grade Social postponed from Fri. 2/1 to Friday. 3/1!!!  Turn in new permission slips to Ms. Huang by 3/1 lunch.

Language Arts  
- continue research for My Democracy Project website and fill out a row in the Research Collection Template (in your copy on Google Classroom)

- in your Units of Study Information Writing Unit Google Doc, make sure to add the following:

• learning target for Session One (on slide 3)
• eleven bullets for "Power-Learning and Note-Taking" chart (on slides 17-18)

- finish reading/listening to I Am Malala (recommended pacing for tonight: Chapter 34 to the end of the book)

- Newsela article due next Mon. 2/11: King followed Gandhi's example (read the article and take the quiz at the end for whichever level Newsela defaults to for you. Recommended: practice reading the article up to 1070L). 

- NoRedInk Assignment #19: Commonly Confused Words III due next Mon. 2/11

Social Studies
- finish Chapter 13 - Geography and the Early Settlement of India with Google Slides if you did not complete it in class (skip Preview and everything from Processing onward)
