Language Arts

- read "I Am Malala" Prologue and Chapters 1-3

- "I Am Malala" Interactive Notebook: (do the work in your own copy in Google Classroom)

• slide 9: add to the map according to locations that are mentioned
• slides 10 & 16: must do
• slides 11-15, 17: must do at least ONE of the slides of your choosing, the rest are optional

Social Studies

-hieroglyphs are bold and permanently inked

-create a light colored background that is Egyptian themed
