Newsela article: Necrobotics (read the article and take the quiz at the end for whichever lexile level Newsela defaults to for you; however, try to read up to MAX even if you start off at a lower level). REQUIRED: Power Words activity. Annotations are optional.

Science
- finish Bill Nye "Earth's Seasons" if you did not complete it in class (link to episode)

- finish Explore: Seasonal Tilt and Whirl if you did not complete it in class

Exploratory
- finish Journal Entry #1:
paragraph 1: What do you think of Alfred Hitchcock's film-making style? What genre do you think the film falls under? Do you personally enjoy his style?

paragraph 2: Give an example in the film when the following techniques were used and the effect of it:
  • close-up shot
  • wide-angle shot
  • reaction shot
