DUE next Mon. 9/15:

- Newsela article: Nuclear plant shut down by jellyfish (read the article and take the quiz at the end whichever lexile level Newsela defaults to for you; however, try to read up to 990L even if you start off at a lower level). Annotations are required.

- NoRedInk Assignment #1: Plural vs. Possessive Nouns

Social Studies
1.) Archaeology test on Thurs. 9/18.  

      -study guide and vocabulary are posted in g.  class.

      -also make sure you have all your papers completed, stamped, and corrected to turn in on day of the test.

(if you ever lose an assignment, you can go to google classroom and print out another copy)

Math

1)   Review Sheet #2 (extra copies posted in g.  class)

2)   Assessment #2 on Fri. 9/19

# before "dash(-)" means the chapter, and #s after "dash(-)" mean problem numbers;   so #8-8 means chapter 8, problem 8

- complete Bill Nye "Moon" handout with video

- complete all of the Seasonal Tilt and Whirl handouts and check your answers
