- Newsela article: Kids hollering "6-7" (read the article and take the quiz at the end whichever lexile level Newsela defaults to for you; however, try to read up to 1090L even if you start off at a lower level). WRITE prompt is required; make sure you write a minimum of 8 sentences and include textual evidence.
