Reminders
- No school on Monday!!!

Language Arts 
- go over the directions for the Family Interview Project with your parents and brainstorm who you will interview for this project as well as questions you could ask regarding a specific incident/memory

- continue to create pins for your Google My Maps for the Refugee book— you should have pins made and summaries written up to Refugee Chapter 13

- look up the terms in the "Vocabulary" boxes for Refugee Chapters 4-6 and make sure you understand the meanings of the Literary Devices listed
  - Newsela article due next Tues. 10/16: "Chaotic" political atmosphere has young Americans worried, poll says (make sure you read the directions and take the quiz at the right lexile level to get credit for the assignment) 

- NoRedInk Assignment #7: Identifying Sentences and Fragments due next Tues. 10/16
