Reminders
- special assembly schedule this Fri. 10/5

Language Arts
- create your own Google My Maps for the Refugee book according to the directions in the document (watch the video tutorials if needed)

- look up the terms in the "Research" boxes for Refugee Chapters 1-3 to familiarize yourself with historical events mentioned in the book

- make sure your notes for the Plot Diagram on Refugee Chapter 1 is complete

- Newsela article due next Mon. 10/8: In an Internet world, teens see that past mistakes can live on (make sure you read the directions and take the quiz at the right lexile level to get credit for the assignment) 

- NoRedInk Assignment #6: Subject-Verb Agreement II due next Mon. 10/8

- Newsela Reading Quiz TOMORROW!!! (do extra article quizzes if you need extra practice; revisit questions you get wrong and make sure you figure out why they are wrong/get help if needed!) 

Social Studies
- complete the rough draft of Amazing Adventures of the Neolithic Nel and Neolithic Nick project so that you could start the final version in class

Make sure you are making an effort to put the correct headings when doing homework

Science
Read the Carbon Cycle article and annotate.  No minimum or maximum required annotations.  Just make sure you fully read with effort and don't just highlight.  You need to also make commentaries as well.
