- Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum field trip this Friday!!!

Language Arts 
SHORT-TERM ASSIGNMENT(S):
- in your Units of Study Narrative Writing Unit Google Doc, make sure to add the following:

• learning target for Session Seven (on slide 4)
• one bullet for the "How to Write Powerful Personal Narratives" chart (on slide 14)
• create a new chart (and bookmark in the Google Doc) titled "Techniques for Writing Memorable Leads" and add the four bullets to your list (on slide 9)
• a new entry for Session Seven Writing for the 2-3 leads for your seed idea

- Newsela article due next Mon. 12/3: Princess Tiana cameo gets redrawn (DIFFERENT RULES FOR THIS TRIMESTER — read the article and take the quiz at the end for whichever level Newsela defaults to for you. Recommended: practice reading the article up to 1080L). 

- NoRedInk Assignment #11: Rules of Capitalization II (Part 1) due next Mon. 12/3

- bring your completed postcards with the address written and the the stamps affixed (if you don't have stamps, bring $0.35 for each postcard mailed to within the U.S. and $1.15 for each international one)

- finish your Google My Maps for the Refugee book (you should be done reading the book at this point in time) — if you don't have a book you could either borrow one from Ms. Sun or listen to the audiobook — the extra credit map is due TODAY by turning in the published link to your Google Sites Portfolio Language Arts page to Google Classroom
