Reminders
- Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum field trip permission slip (OVERDUE) to Ms. Sun

Language Arts 
SHORT-TERM ASSIGNMENT(S):
- in your Units of Study Narrative Writing Unit Google Doc, make sure to add the following:
  • learning target for Session Six (on slide 3)
  • four bullets for the "How to Write Powerful Personal Narratives" chart (on slide 11)
  • an new entry for Session Six Self-Assessment (make sure you first self-assess your best writing entry thus far by comparing it to the checklist then create a goal chart modeled after the one on slide 15)
LONG-TERM ASSIGNMENT(S)/PROJECT(S):
due Mon. 11/26
- bring your completed postcards with the address written and the the stamps affixed (if you don't have stamps, bring $0.35 for each postcard mailed to within the U.S. and $1.15 for each international one)

due Mon. 11/26 
- finish your Google My Maps for the Refugee book (you should be done reading the book at this point in time) — if you don't have a book you could either borrow one from Ms. Sun or listen to the audiobook — the extra credit map is due Mon. 11/26 by turning in the published link to your Google Sites Portfolio Language Arts page to Google Classroom

- finish the Refugee One Pager project — due Mon. 12/3

- record an interview for your Family Interview Project by using the tools from StoryCorps' The Great Thanksgiving Listen (follow directions from the project direction doc for how to uploade the audio file to your Google Drive) — watch these two videos for more helpful pointers:
