Reminders
- Greek Olympics this Fri. 5/10!!!

SHORT-TERM ASSIGNMENT(S):

- Newsela article due Mon. 5/13: A Holocaust tale on Instagram (read the article and take the quiz at the end for whichever level Newsela defaults to for you. Recommended: practice reading the article up to 1050L)

- NoRedInk Assignment #28: Body Paragraphs due Mon. 5/13

LONG-TERM ASSIGNMENT(S)/PROJECT(S):
due Fri. 5/3
- turn in your My Democracy Project website link on Google Classroom — the website should be complete with:

• research information (written in your own words) on every subpage
• media component (embedded or linked to one of your subpages)
• a reflection on your Service Learning experience (this means your Service Learning component should be done well before 5/3!!!)

If you need an extension for the Service Learning component, make sure you have a letter written with your game plan as far as what you're planning to do and when it will be done, then get a parent to sign it. An alternative to the Service Learning component would be attending the Jai Jagat performance.

Social Studies
- if you are participating in "The Iliad" readers theatre, make sure you check your assigned role(s) optional Greek Unit Challenges and start rehearsing at home!
