Important Reminders

- remind your parents to watch the Back to School Night videos

- September Scholastic Book Orders due online by Fri. 9/4 (our class code is GTBLV)

Even though the flyers are for middle schoolers, you can click on the ALL FLYERS tab for other grade levels as well to order for younger siblings!

Language Art

- write an entry in your Language Arts notebook about anything:

• label it Session #2 Writing
• scan/take a photo of it and then upload it into you Google Drive Language Arts folder (make sure to rename the file "Session #2 Writing")
• open the file, take a screenshot of it and put it in the Session 2 slide of your Language Arts Introductory Writing Unit Digital Notebook

1. Correct homework for Tuesday (answers posted in village a website)

2. Homework #2 (MAKE SURE YOU put the appropriate heading as shown in class). Due Mon. 9/31

• CC1: 1.1.4  prob 25, 29 thru 31.  SHOW all your calculations and BOX your answers.

To turn in your homework, do the following:

• take birds-eye view and clear picture of your homework
• upload to your google drive into the appropriate folder
• rename files to appropriate file names
• attach to Classroom
• Turn in

3. Complete i-Ready Math diagnostic by End of the Day Fri. 8/28

Social Studies

1. Complete Bill Nye movie notes.   Due Fri 8/28
2. Attach to google classroom and turn it in.

Science
- be ready to share your "What is a Scientist?" mini-poster tomorrow

Exploratory
- watch the module videos for "Write an If-Then Adventure Story" on Applied Digital Skills
