Important Reminders
- September Scholastic Book Orders due online by Fri. 9/4 (our class code is GTBLV)

Even though the flyers are for middle schoolers, you can click on the ALL FLYERS tab for other grade levels as well to order for younger siblings!

Language Art

- watch Units of Study minilesson videos for Session 1 and Session 2 (username/password are listed in your digital notebook)

- write an entry in your Language Arts notebook about anything:

• label it Session #1 Writing
• scan/take a photo of it and then upload it into you Google Drive Language Arts folder (make sure to rename the file "Session #1 Writing)
• open the file, take a screenshot of it and put it in the Session 1 slide your Language Arts Introductory Writing Unit Digital Notebook

Math

Homework #1 (MAKE SURE YOU put the appropriate heading as shown in class). Due Thurs 8/27

• CC1: 2.1.1 problems #3 and 4.  SHOW all your calculations and BOX your answers.
• Candle Trimmers:  SHOW all your calculations and BOX your answers. 

To turn in your homework, do the following:

• take birds-eye view and clear picture of your homework
• upload to your google drive into the appropriate folder
• rename files to appropriate file names
• attach to Classroom
• Turn in

Complete i-Ready Math diagnostic by End of the Day Fri. 8/28

Social Studies

1. Complete Bill Nye movie notes.   Due Fri 8/28
2. Attach to google classroom and turn it in.

Science
- complete the drawing of your scientist and then upload your work to Seesaw

Exploratory
- finish and upload the "All About a Topic" final product to Google Classroom by TOMORROW @ 11:59 p.m.
