  Important Reminders

- read over the following with your parents:

• 6th Grade Syllabus 
• Film Permission Slip
• Communications Apps Guidelines 

and then get them to fill out the Parent Survey (OVERDUE — was due Sunday night)

Language Art
- finish the iReady Reading Diagnostic on Wednesday during independent work time

- E-mail Etiquette Assignment due this Fri. 8/21

- Student Survey due this Fri. 8/21

- Partner Survey due this Fri. 8/21 (complete this with your partner using Google Hangouts chat)

- complete Flipgrid Introductions; when you are done, make sure to click on MARK AS DONE in Google Classroom when you are done (this was due last Friday, so if you haven't done it, do it NOW!)

Math

1. Go and get all the supplies mentioned in the Math 6 syllabus.
2. Make sure textbooks were picked up from school.

Social Studies

1. Complete part 1 of slide deck by today (8/18).  Make sure you are choosing items that help describe or show who you are (avoid just picking an item because you like it)
2. When your classmate has done their part 1, then you can start on Part 2.  Part 2 due on Fri 8/21.
