 Important Reminders

- if you need extra help or need to do a retake for a quiz, Office Hours are Wednesdays

Language Art
- self-assess the narrative writing piece you shared with your partner today using the Narrative Writing Grade 5/6 Checklist; revise your writing to make it better

- watch the minilesson videos for Narrative Writing Unit Session 7

Math

1. No homework


*Math assessments are every other week as they were during first semester.  Make sure you set aside time to take the tests and communicate with your parents to not schedule anything during the time you have set aside to take the tests.  Tests should last about 45 minutes to and hour. 


*Late work/redos are updated once a week.  If you turn in late work/redos after I've updated for that week, you will have to wait until the next week for the update.



Social Studies

*You need to fill out a late slip form for each assignment you are turning in late separately.  Be specific with the assignment.  Late work/redos are updated once a week.  


Science
- finish Bill Nye "Heat" Video handout if you did not complete it in class (here's the link to the YouTube version if you did not finish in class)

- read over the My Place in a Changing World project website (it will not let you view the website using your school account, so please use a personal account); contribute helpful resources to our village (make sure you are signed into your CUSD Google account)

- fill out one row in the Research Collection Template (posted in Google Classroom) tonight after doing 10 minutes of research/learning; check out the project symbaloo as a starting point

- make sure your pages 1-60 of the Earth Science Digital Notebook matches Ms. Sun's example one
