   Important Reminders

- starting this week you will need your Student ID card in order to get food at Brunch/Lunch

- keep your COVID Testing QR code safe; you will need it every Friday

Language Arts

DUE Mon. 2/14:

- Newsela article: Climate Change in the Hawaii and U.S. Tropical Islands (read the article and take the quiz at the end whichever lexile level Newsela defaults to for you; however, try to read up to 1030L even if you start off at a lower level). Annotations are optional but helpful in aiding in your reading comprehension.

- NoRedInk Assignment #15: Verb Tense II - Perfect and Progressive Tenses

Social Studies

Read Lesson 20 in HA textbook (pgs. 223-231)

Complete Lesson 20 packet.   Due Friday 2/11

SHORT-TERM ASSIGNMENT(S):

LONG-TERM ASSIGNMENT(S):

- read over the My Place in This Changing World project website (the pages that are not blank); contribute helpful resources to our village (make sure you are signed into your CUSD Google account)

- 25 rows filled out in the Research Collection Template (posted in Google Classroom) --- you should be doing one row for each school day between 1/14-2/18; check out the project symbaloo as a starting point
