 Important Reminders

- make sure your parents sign the permission slip for the WEB Social next Friday, 3/10 and planetarium field trip on Monday, 3/13!!!

DUE Mon. 2/27:

- Newsela article: Climate change in the U.S. Midwest (read the article and take the quiz at the end for whichever lexile level Newsela defaults to for you; however, try to read up to 1050L even if you start off at a lower level). 

- NoRedInk Assignment #20: Commonly Confused Words IV

Social Studies

Finish your region page for your relief map if you have not done so yet.  

Math

1. Homework #48 - #1 and #2-15 (you choose, do all the evens or all the odds). Copy Down the original problem (unless it's a word problem) and Show all your work.  

2. Assessment #11 on Thurs. 3/2

Science

SHORT-TERM ASSIGNMENT(S):

- read the "Wind" handout and be ready for a quiz in the near future

- watch these videos about how slight warming could impact the planet

LONG-TERM ASSIGNMENT(S):

- start narrowing down your climate change topic for the My Place in This Changing World project;   contribute helpful resources to our village (make sure you are signed into your CUSD Google account)

- 25 rows filled out in the Research Collection Template (posted in Google Classroom) --- you should be doing one row for each school day between 2/6-3/17; check out the project symbaloo as a starting point
