 Important Reminders

Language Arts
DUE next Mon. 3/16:
Newsela article: U.S. Midwest Climate Change (read the article and take the quiz at the end whichever lexile level Newsela defaults to for you; however, try to read up to 1030L even if you start off at a lower level). 

- NoRedInk Assignment #21: Active and Passive Voice

Social Studies
-Compassion Campus Exhibit due Fri 3/13 (end of day).  Submit your projects into google classroom.  Each person needs to submit their own copy.  

-Presentation on Tuesday 3/17 (all directions posted in g class titled "Museum Exhibit presentation")

(if you ever lose an assignment, you can go to google classroom and print out another copy)

Math
-Pi skyline due Mon. 3/16
-NWEA #3 - math will take place from 3/17 thru 3/19.   
-Bring a reading book or something quiet to work on in case you are done with the test early. 
 
*How To read math homework problems assigned from the textbook:
# before "dash(-)" means the chapter, and #s after "dash(-)" mean problem numbers;   so #8-8 means chapter 8, problem 8
**Copies of math homework worksheets are posted in Math files.

Science
SHORT-TERM ASSIGNMENT(S):
- watch the "Ice on Fire" documentary if you missed any portion of it

- watch these videos about how slight warming could impact the planet

LONG-TERM ASSIGNMENT(S):
- start narrowing down your climate change topic for the My Place in This Changing World project;   contribute helpful resources to our village (make sure you are signed into your CUSD Google account)

DUE Fri. 3/13
- 25 rows filled out in the Research Collection Template (posted in Google Classroom) --- you should be doing one row for each school day between 2/2-3/13; check out the project symbaloo as a starting point

*** Make sure your Science Binder Table of Contents matches Ms. Sun's at all times!
