Reminders
- discuss with your parents what you will bring for the potluck next Thursday; sign-ups will be TOMORROW in class

-Tech museum field trip permission slips are posted as an assignment in your Science google classroom assignment.  Follow the instructions and turn them back into google classroom by next Friday, 12/21.

SHORT-TERM ASSIGNMENT(S):
- in your Units of Study Narrative Writing Unit Google Doc, make sure to add the following:

• learning target for Session Fifteen (on slide 3)
• one bullet for the "How to Write Powerful Personal Narratives" chart (on slides 11)
• an entry for Session Fifteen Writing: write a few powerful endings for your personal narrative that really conveys the meaning of your story

- Newsela article due next Mon. 12/17: The lighting of the menorah (DIFFERENT RULES FOR THIS TRIMESTER — read the article and take the quiz at the end for whichever level Newsela defaults to for you. Recommended: practice reading the article up to 1070L). 

- NoRedInk Assignment #12: Contractions & Comparative vs. Superlative Adjectives and Adverbs due next Mon. 12/17
