Reminders
- don't forget to bring your potluck dish TOMORROW!!! (pick up your leftover dish/container from Ms. Huang's room after school)

- return SIGNED order form for Studentreasures Publishing even if you don't want to purchase a book by TOMORROW!!!

- Tech museum field trip permission slips are posted as an assignment in your Science Google Classroom.  Follow the instructions and turn them back into google classroom by this Friday, 12/21

Language Arts  
- do not turn in the Google Classroom assignment for the final personal narrative (we will do it together in class tomorrow)

- make sure your personal narrative is FINALIZED (as good as can be) in the document in Google Classroom; have someone in your family read over your writing for grammar/punctuation errors

- Newsela article due Mon. 1/7: Produce more food; eat less beef (DIFFERENT RULES FOR THIS TRIMESTER — read the article and take the quiz at the end for whichever level Newsela defaults to for you. Recommended: practice reading the article up to 1030L). Before you answer the WRITE prompt, read through these two articles first:

• Taxes on meat, milk would reduce climate change effects, study says
• Hunger problems in U.S. could be fixed by replacing meat with plants, study says

- NoRedInk Assignment #14: Capitalizing and Formatting Titles & Prepositional Phrases due Mon. 1/7
