- in your Units of Study Narrative Writing Unit Google Doc, make sure to add the following:
  • learning targets for Session Ten (on slide 3)
  • three bullets for the "How to Write Powerful Personal Narratives" chart (on slides 12-13)
  • an entry for Session Ten Writing: draw a story mountain with both the external and internal arc, then re-envision your narrative using strategies learned today to bring out what your story is really about
Newsela article due next Mon. 12/10: Uproar over the "Lion King" remake (DIFFERENT RULES FOR THIS TRIMESTER — read the article and take the quiz at the end for whichever level Newsela defaults to for you. Recommended: practice reading the article up to 1030L). Before you answer the WRITE prompt, make sure you watch the following two trailers first:
