- Newsela article: 2024 sets record for hottest year (read the article and take the quiz at the end whichever lexile level Newsela defaults to for you; however, try to read up to 1080L even if you start off at a lower level). Annotations are optional.

LONG-TERM ASSIGNMENT(S):

- start looking at Garageband tutorials to help you with the podcast editing

Social Studies

SHORT-TERM ASSIGNMENT(S):

- watch these videos about how slight warming could impact the planet

- start narrowing down your climate change topic for the My Place in This Changing World project;   contribute helpful resources to our village (make sure you are signed into your CUSD Google account)
