 Important Reminders

- October book orders due this Fri. 10/16 (now your parents can get books shipped to your home!)

- sign-up for TOMORROW's Village A Social Sessions (optional)

- you can start borrowing books from the KMS Library!

Language Art

- check Synergy/StudentVUE and make up Missing/Incomplete assignments

- Language Arts notebook check will happen TOMORROW so make sure that your notebook is complete up to Session 8 (cross-reference yours with the example notebook)

Math

1.  Complete classwork 3.1.1 peardeck by today.  Do all your work in your journal with the proper heading.

2.  Find HW #14 in Classroom and Read the directions for Homework #14 before you start on it.   

3. Correct your answers in the Math files in Village A website

        -correct with a Red Pen

        -if you have to redo a problem, redo it in pencil.

Social Studies

1.  Go to Newsela and select the new assignment, "Six Simple Machines".  First select the level (NEEDS to be at 830L or higher), then read the article.  After you are done, take the quiz and turn in. 

2.  Go to TCI online, and complete lesson games for lesson 2 and 3 you didn't finish.  You replay to try to achieve a higher score than previous.  Your most current score will be recorded.

3. Everyone will be presenting their Neolithic storyboards tomorrow

Science

- on Friday, make sure you come to class with:

• two solar houses, one with a white paper window covering
• two pieces of cardboards
• thermometers

- print (if you haven't):

• 1 copy of the Solar House Experiment — Window Variable data sheet
• 2 copies of the Solar House Experiment data sheet
• 1 copy of the Solar House Experiment lab sheet

- check Synergy/StudentVUE and make up Missing/Incomplete assignments

- Science notebook check will happen TOMORROW so make sure that your notebook is complete up to Session 8 (make sure you have a completed Table of Contents and that your pages 1-20 of the Earth Science Digital Notebook matches Ms. Sun's example one)
