Language Arts
DUE Mon. 3/3:
Newsela article: Making pennies obsolete (read the article and take the quiz at the end whichever lexile level Newsela defaults to for you; however, try to read up to 1030L even if you start off at a lower level). Annotations are optional. REQUIRED: Write Prompt (make sure you write at least 8-10 sentences)

- NoRedInk Assignment #18: Pronoun Case

- finish reading I Am Malala if you haven't

- Verb Tenses Quiz next Mon. 3/3!!! (review your notes on Progressive and Perfect Tense Verbs — make sure you look at the link for the irregular verb list)

Social Studies
1. Mandala worksheet due Mon. 3/3 
    -follow directions in google classroom.

2. Correct lesson 13 and 14 reading notes (posted in g. class)

Math
1. Fraction tic-tac-toe due Tues. 3/4. 
     -if you are completing Kahoot, check in with Ms. Huang for you score to see if it counts before Monday.

Science
SHORT-TERM ASSIGNMENT(S):
- read the "Petroleum" handout and be ready for a quiz in the near future

- watch these videos about how slight warming could impact the planet

LONG-TERM ASSIGNMENT(S):
- start narrowing down your climate change topic for the My Place in This Changing World project;   contribute helpful resources to our village (make sure you are signed into your CUSD Google account)


- STEMscopes Influences of Weather and Climate Quiz next Fri. 3/7!!! (study from guided notes as well as online STEMscopes resources)
