- in your Lucy Calkins Narrative Writing Unit Google Doc, make sure to add the following:

• learning target for Session Nine (on slide 3)
• an entry for 10/14/16: list the strategy you are going to work on from the How to Write Powerful Personal Narratives chart and then copy/paste chunks of your seed idea narrative to practice your strategy on

- NoRedInk Assignment #5: Identifying Parts of Speech II (Part 2) due next Mon. 10/17
- Newsela assignment: read one article everyday (pick three from each text set so at the end of the week you will have read six articles, three from each category)
