Language Arts 
- in your Lucy Calkins Narrative Writing Unit Google Doc, make sure to add the following:

• learning target for Session Eight (on slide 2)
• an entry for 10/13/16 for the flash-draft of the seed idea (make sure you finish writing the entire narrative for your seed idea)

- conduct your interview with a relative/family member for the Interview Project — due TOMORROW!!! (watch this video for directions on how to upload and link to Google Sites/turn into Google Classroom)

- NoRedInk Assignment #5: Identifying Parts of Speech II (Part 2) due next Mon. 10/17

- Newsela assignment: read one article everyday (pick three from each text set so at the end of the week you will have read six articles, three from each category)
