Important Reminders
- Direct Donations to PTA - Contest

Language Arts 
- in your Lucy Calkins Narrative Writing Unit Google Doc, make sure to add the following:

• learning target for Session Four (on slide 3)
• two bullets for "How to Write Powerful Personal Narratives" chart (on slide 7)
• create a new chart (and bookmark in the Google Doc) titled "Questions to Ask Yourself as You Edit" and add the eight tips to your list
• option for writing tonight: start a new entry of writing for 10/6/16 OR edit an existing entry you have

- conduct your interview with a relative/family member for the Interview Project — due next Fri. 10/14
- NoRedInk Assignment #4: Identifying Parts of Speech II (Part 1) due next Mon. 10/10

- Newsela assignment: read one article everyday (pick three from each text set so at the end of the week you will have read six articles, three from each category)
