- in your Lucy Calkins Narrative Writing Unit Google Doc, make sure to add the following:

• learning target for Session Six (on slide 3)
• four bullets for the "How to Write Powerful Personal Narratives" chart (on slide 11)
• an entry of new writing for 10/10/16 (make sure you also self-assess your best writing entry thus far by comparing it to the checklist)

- conduct your interview with a relative/family member for the Interview Project — due this Fri. 10/14

- NoRedInk Assignment #5: Identifying Parts of Speech II (Part 2) due next Mon. 10/17

- Newsela assignment: read one article everyday (pick three from each text set so at the end of the week you will have read six articles, three from each category)
