Language Arts 
- in your Lucy Calkins Narrative Writing Unit Google Doc, make sure to add the following:

• learning target for Session Eleven (on slide 3)
• one bullet for the "How to Write Powerful Personal Narratives" chart (on slides 9)
• an entry for 10/18/16: elaborate on portions in your narrative, add to/delete from your narrative in order to bring out the meaning of your story

- NoRedInk Assignment #6: Subject-Verb Agreement II due next Mon. 10/24
- Newsela assignment: read one article everyday (pick three from each text set so at the end of the week you will have read six articles, three from each category)
