- in your Lucy Calkins Narrative Writing Unit Google Doc, make sure to add the following:

• learning target for Session Five (on slide 5)
• create a new chart (and bookmark in the Google Doc) titled "Lessons from Mentor Narratives" and add the three bullets to your list (on slide 11)
• option for writing tonight: start a new entry of writing for 10/7/16 OR revise an existing entry you have, using strategies to emulate Howe's writing

- conduct your interview with a relative/family member for the Interview Project — due next Fri. 10/14
- NoRedInk Assignment #4: Identifying Parts of Speech II (Part 1) due next Mon. 10/10

- Newsela assignment: read one article everyday (pick three from each text set so at the end of the week you will have read six articles, three from each category)
